Wimpole Hall victory under Gaia Boni

IT was a red letter day for our apprentice Gaia Boni when she rode Wimpole Hall to win at Chelmsford on Tuesday evening.  She was only having her second ever ride and I thought she gave him a very intelligent ride.

Gaia works very hard on her fitness and her jockey coaches Michael Hills and Michael Tebbutt have told me she is probably the fittest apprentice that makes use of wonderful facilities at the British Racing School.

Everyone at Phantom House was delighted for her and with ‘Wimpy’.

I was delighted with the way Wannabe Betsy ran; it was an impressive debut and bodes well for the future.
