PREOBRAJENSKA will have her first start for the Phantom House team when she lines up in a 7f fillies’ maiden at Kempton this afternoon. The daughter of Paco Boy, owned by Bill and Tim Gredley, has been placed on three of her four starts to date and joined the yard over the winter.
William has been pleased with her since her arrival and is looking forward to getting her on the track. He said: “It is great to have a horse for the Gredleys and this filly has shown that she has some ability. Today’s race looks strong on paper but she has plenty of experience and we hope she can put this to good use against some unraced rivals.”
Josephine Gordon is booked to ride and the pair will break from stall five.
With the turf season just a fortnight away things are cranking up a gear and both Port Paradise and Himalayan Queen could also line up this week. Both hold entries at on Thursday, the former in a seller at Wolverhampton whilst Himalayan Queen could head back to Chelmsford for a 6f fillies’ handicap. The daughter of Poet’s Voice ran well over course and distance ten days ago and has come out of that assignment in good shape.
