COLD Snap and Himalayan Queen will both represent the Phantom House team at Windsor this evening.
Cold Snap, a four-year-old by Medicean, will carry P C Dalby and RD Schuster’s colours in the 6f handicap at 6.15.
He was a winner over course and distance last May and William has been pleased with his training in recent weeks. He said: “Cold Snap had a setback following his maiden win last spring but he is a horse I like and he has been working well this spring. As expected it is a competitive race but he goes there in good form and I hope he will put up a bold showing despite a wide draw in stall 11.”
Robert Winston rides Cold Snap while Sophie Killoran will get the leg up on Himalayan Queen in the concluding 6f handicap at 7:45.
The daughter of Kheleyf, owned by Miss Samantha Dare, has to bounce back from a disappointing run at Chelmsford last time out but seems in good heart at home.
William added: “Himalayan Queen is also drawn wide. Her form isn’t very consistent but if she puts her best foot forward she is capable of running well in this grade.”
