Chief Ironside wins the feature race at Newmarket

FRIDAY was a busy day for Phantom House with five runners.  Four at Newmarket and one at Yarmouth.

Two two-year-old fillies made their debut in the six furlong maiden; Kevin Hickman’s Queen Constantine and Emma Banks’s Thoughtfully.  They ran very promisingly to finish 4th and 6th respectively and both within 3 lengths of the winner.

William said “I am delighted with the fillies and hope they will both be in the winner’s enclosure next time.

Arigato was second again this week; he is still gaining experience and we should get his head in front again soon.

Chief Ironside won the feature 0-100 handicap in a front running display under Kieran Shoemark.  William said “I am delighted with Chief Ironside; he is a progressive horse and looks a very exciting prospect”
