GRAVITATION has been declared to contest the 2m Esher Stakes at Sandown tomorrow.
Lady Howard de Walden’s daughter of Galileo was last seen when disappointing at Haydock last month but on her best form from last season could be very competitive tomorrow.
She faces only five rivals but these include Judgethemoment, who triumphed in the Ascot Stakes at Royal Ascot and Queen Alexandra Stakes third, Amerigo.
Jarvis said: “Gravitation’s reappearance at Haydock was a very much below-par but as has been well documented we had a torrid time in the spring.
“I am hoping without being over confident that she can reproduce her best form. She is a Group 3 winner running in a Listed race without a penalty and with her fillies allowance, so there is a lot in her favour.”
Today those famous apricot colours will be carried by Papyrian in a 7f maiden at Warwick.
Jarvis added of the son of Oasis Dream: “We are fitting the blinkers on him today and reverting to maiden company so hopefully he can be there or there about.”
Looking towards next week’s July Festival at Newmarket Jarvis is hoping to have a busy week with Admiral Dundas, Kay Gee Be, Clerk’s Choice and Archie Rice all coming under consideration for handicap races. |
