It is set to be a busy few days for trainer William Jarvis and his team as he sends out a number of runners at various different venues over the next three or four days.

Mega Watt heads to Haydock with a big chance this afternoon following a good third in a competitive handicap at Newmarket last month.

Jarvis said of the son of Acclamation: “It looks like a very suitable opportunity for Mega Watt this afternoon.  We shall have no excuses if he doesn’t perform.”

Frankie Dettori takes the ride and will face only four other rivals in the 1m2f contest.

Mrs Susan Davies’ Guesswork will aim to build on her promising debut when she lines up in a 6f maiden at Nottingham tomorrow.

The daughter of Rock of Gibraltar was fourth in a maiden at Newbury last month and connections are hopeful she has improved from that run and can be competitive.

Jarvis added: “I am hopeful she has improved from her debut but it looks quite a competitive race.”

Also tomorrow Papyrian has been declared to take his place in the line up of a 7f handicap at Newbury.

His handler reflected: “We were slightly disappointed that he was only fifth last time at Yarmouth but the form was boosted yesterday when the 100-1 winner won a handicap at Chester.

“7f should suit him and top jockey Jimmy Fortune takes the ride.”

Jockey Jean-Pierre Guillambert will get the leg up on both of Jarvis’s runners at Yarmouth tomorrow.

Musigny makes his seasonal reappearance in a mile handicap and three-year old River Till will make her race-course debut in the 6f maiden.

On Friday Admiral Dundas heads to York for a 1m1f handicap.  Joe Fanning who rode him to victory at Newmarket last summer is claimed by Mark Johnston and so our horse will be ridden by exciting 5lb claimer Andrea Atzeni.

Looking towards the weekend Wasp is an intended runner at Sandown in a 7f handicap. Dr Jim Walker’s seven-year old was fifth to the progressive Bullet Man at Newmarket last time out and should be competitive again.

Moon Sister is possible contender in a mile handicap at York. The daughter of Cadeaux Genereux was fourth in a Group 3 when last seen in action and Jarvis is hoping that she can return to the winners’ circle now she drops down to handicap company.

He said: “She should be suited by the step down in class and is well.

“I am hoping for a winner or two before close of play on Saturday.”
