SHOGUN PRINCE made it back-to-back wins with a hard-fought triumph at Yarmouth tonight (April 18).

The Michael Banks-owned gelding had struck at Lingfield on his previous outing and he followed up under Seb Sanders in a 1m 2f handicap at England's most easterly track.

He tracked the leaders for much of the race before being asked to assert, having travelled well.

Sanders took him to the front at the two-furlong pole and had to drive him out to hold off two challengers inside the closing stages.

Shogun Prince showed a good attitude to get the job done, defying a 4lb penalty for his last victory as he nailed odds of 3/1.
