WILLIAM JARVIS is eager for his recent good form to continue with a flurry of runners over the next few days.

Troubadour runs tonight in a three-runner conditions stakes at Great Leighs and Alan Munro takes the ride.

The Jarvis team return to Britain 's newest racecourse tomorrow with El Duende taking the step into handicap company off a mark of 72.

By Elusive Quality, he's likely to enjoy the surface and hopefully can build on his opening salvo to the 2008 season when fifth of nine at Newmarket .

Ten winners and counting

Friday sees the reappearance of the Spice Gardens in a seven-furlong handicap at Southwell.

She is another who doesn't look to be too harshly treated by the handicapper and William said: “I would be very disappointed if she can't be competitive.”

The master of Phantom House plans to enjoy his weekend watching the big-race action from Newmarket Guineas' meeting.

But Bank Holiday Monday sees him back in pursuit of winners with Shogun Prince aiming to complete a hat-trick when he trips to Windsor for either a 1m 2f handicap or an extended 1m 3f handicap.

So far this year from 45 runners, William has recorded 10 winners at very healthy strike-rate of over 22%.

Long may it continue!
