William is hoping that the good form of his string will continue over the next few days as he sends out a number of runners.
Owner Jim Walker is over from Hong Kong and he looks to have a strong chance of seeing his bright green colours carried to victory by either Grey Granite or Oriental Scot.
Hayek almost provided Jim with the perfect beginning to his trip when just getting touched off at Kempton yesterday evening.
William said if the son of Royal Applause: “Hayek ran very well but he just met one better on the day. I was delighted with his performance and he is one to keep on the right side of.”
Tomorrow Grey Granite heads up to Scotland to contest a 1m5f handicap at Hamilton.
The son of Dalakhani has yet to run on his favoured soft surface this season but has been running well.
William added: “They have had plenty of rain and hopefully he can go well on his favoured ground.”
On the same afternoon Oriental Scot has been declared to run in a mile handicap at Nottingham.
The son of Selkirk was a winner over course and distance on his penultimate start and William looks to have found an ideal opportunity for him to get his head in front again.
He said: “I hope the ground is good or quicker. He is well and hopefully can give Dr Jim a winner whilst he is over here.”
Brigadoon is also likely to run on Friday, in a mile handicap at Pontefract.
