JOCKEY Jim Crowley travelled up from Sussex this morning to get the leg-up on Qushchi who worked over 7f on the Limekilns.
The daughter of Encosta De Lago went nicely along with Heatherbird and could line up in the Group 3 Nell Gwyn Stakes at Newmarket on 13 April.
Qushchi had just two starts as a juvenile, finishing third at Newbury before beating a good-looking field over 7f in October.
William said of Lady Howard de Walden’s filly: “I was pleased with her work and I am happy with her in general. Her coat looks good.
“We’ll give her an entry in the Nell Gwyn Stakes which could be a good starting point as she has won at the track. I hope she is up to the rise in class.”
