AS BEFITS the month of April in a Flat training establishment, it is all go at Phantom House at the moment.

For starters, William Jarvis needed to call on the services of three jockeys this morning as he took first lot across to Racecourse Side.

Alan Munro was aboard Longevity, Jean-Pierre Guillambert took the ride on Brave Mave and Michael Tebbutt sat on Perez Prado.

The first two were being prepared for engagements next week. Longevity has entries at Newbury next Friday and Saturday, while Brave Mave is due to have her first start of 2008 in a mile handicap at Nottingham.

Tebbutt also gave Smokey Storm a pipe-opener on Wednesday morning with the One Cool Cat colt poised to become Jarvis' first two-year-old runner of the season at either Windsor next Monday or Kempton next Thursday.

William is looking forward to the return of El Duende to competitive action - the Elusive Quality colt pencilled in for entries at Nottingham, Newmarket and Newbury next week. “It is slightly ground dependent as to where he runs as he would not want it too soft.”

Perhaps there may be an addition or two to the Jarvis string over the next couple of weeks with the trainer geared up for action at the breeze-ups.

William outlined: “I'm heading to Doncaster on Thursday when I'm hoping to be active. Similarly, with the Craven breeze-up next week at Newmarket, I will be looking to get involved.”

Anyone wishing for William's assistance at the forthcoming breeze-ups, should contact William at Phantom House.
