STIRLING Bridge has been declared by William for a mile handicap at Kempton on Wednesday evening.
The son of Kyllachy has some good form on an artificial surface having won at the track twice over the winter.
Stirling Bridge should strip fitter for his return from a break at Haydock last month and William is hoping for an improved effort.
He said: “Unfortunately he has been drawn in stall 10 of 12 which is not ideal. His recent work on the Limekilns suggests that he is coming back to form so hopefully he can give a good account of himself.”
“Robert Havlin, who has ridden winners for owner Dr Jim Walker, takes the ride.”
Cuthbert is likely to take his chance in a 7f handicap at Yarmouth on Thursday.
William added: “He is gradually slipping down the weights but I still feel that he is too high in the handicap.”
