Weather woes!

THE past week or so has been difficult for Newmarket trainers with snow and icy conditions undermining the daily routine.
There is more poor weather forecast for the next few days with sub-zero temperatures and wintery blasts set to keep us in check.
But the team at Phantom House haven’t been beaten by the elements - even if the going has been somewhat tough at times.
Trainer William Jarvis reported: “We’ve got the horses out every day, bar last Tuesday but it’s not been a straightforward few days.
“The lads have worked hard to keep the yard safe and in working order. All credit, too, to the Jockey Club Estates. They have done a good job in keeping the all-weather training grounds open for cantering exercise.
“But Saturday was particularly treacherous when we took the older horses out at first lot for a canter.
“We found the horse walks nearly impassable and ended up taking the horses down the Moulton Road, past the Horseshoes pub, around the Clock Tower, past Waitrose and back home!”
