Rock A Doodle Doo heads for Sandown

ROCK A DOODLE DOO is set to make his next racecourse appearance in a mile and a quarter handicap at Sandown on Friday, William confirmed this morning.

The son of Oratorio, already a three-time winner this year, will aim to build on his recent third to Paintball at Doncaster.

A sounder surface should suit and all at Phantom House are hopeful of a bold showing from him.

William said: “He ran really well at Doncaster and although this is a competitive race I am hopeful that he can run well again.

“He is in good form and should go close. It is a shame that, due to the volcanic ash, his owners probably won’t be able to make it there. Neil Warnock is stranded in Mumbai, Geoff Meall in Egypt and Wendy Dio in Los Angeles.”
