ROCK A Doodle Doo returns to racecourse action after nearly a year off the track when he lines up in the Great Metropolitan handicap at Epsom tomorrow afternoon.
The son of Oratorio, now four, won three times on the all-weather last winter before running some tremendous races in defeat in hot handicaps during the spring.
Rock A Doodle Doo was last seen finishing sixth to the useful Harris Tweed in the Edinburgh Cup at Musselburgh last June.
William said: “I am looking forward to running Rock A Doodle Doo at Epsom. He is well drawn in three and has the services of Champion Jockey Paul Hanagan.
“He sustained an injury at Musselburgh last June and has been off since. He looks extremely well and his work has been very encouraging.
“He is sure to improve for the run but he should be fit enough to do himself justice.”
