Rock A Doodle Doo a ‘possible’ for York test

ROCK A Doodle Doo has been given at entry in the John Smith’s Silver Cup at York on Saturday.

The son of Oratorio was last seen finishing an unlucky fourth in the Duke of Edinburgh handicap at Royal Ascot where he finished strongly having experienced trouble in running.

William said: “He ran a good race at Ascot and seems to have come out of that race in good form.

“I haven’t done much in the way of work with him since but he seems very well.  Hopefully he can see out the distance well with a view to possibly returning for the Ebor later in the summer.”

Also on Saturday Silke Top could line up in the 6f Fillies’ maiden at Newmarket.
