WILLIAM is looking forward to sending Rock A Doodle Doo to Scotland to contest the Edinburgh Cup at Musselburgh on Saturday.
The son of Oratorio was second on his last start at Sandown and William is hoping that he can go one better and gain a fourth career win.
William said: “He has been a model of consistency and deserves to take his place in the valuable £80,000 contest. It is a competitive race but he’s in good form and should run well.
“With the weights unlikely to go up we have booked the promising young apprentice Simon Pearce to ride him.”
It is a shame that there will be no representatives from Phantom House running at Epsom over the weekend but William is looking forward to watching the Classics.
He said: “It is unfortunate that we don’t have any thing good enough to run it Britain’s most prestigious race, The Derby but I expect to see Jan Vermeer put up an impressive performance to win.
“He looked very good in Ireland last time and I expect him to take all the beating. Of the outsiders I think Coordinated Cut could run well at a price.”
