QUSHCHI will make her seasonal reappearance in the Group 3 Nell Gwyn Stakes at Newmarket tomorrow.
Lady Howard de Walden’s filly will return to the scene of her impressive maiden win where William is hoping that she can put up a good show.
As expected it is a hot race with Queen Mary winner Maqaasid and recent Listed scorer Sing Sweetly in the line up but Qushchi is unexposed and acts on the track.
William said: “We are hopeful that she can run well. She is certain to be sent off at double figure odds but it would be great if she can run into a place and gain some valuable black type.
“She looks very well. Jim Crowley retains the ride. He has ridden her in work and was more that satisfied.”
A field of 11 will go to post and Qushchi will jump from stall six.
