Private Equity scores at Kempton

PRIVATE Equity gave the William Jarvis team a well deserved win when she landed a 1m4f handicap at Kempton this evening.

The daughter of Haafhd, sent off an 11/2 shot, had improved with each of her three previous race course appearances and did the job well tonight.

She was settled towards the rear by jockey Joe Fanning but she was always travelling smoothly.

He had to switch wide 3f from the finish to ensure a smooth passage but she picked up well to lead close home, scoring with a length and a half in hand.

John & Susan Davis’ filly looks to be going the right way and if the handicapper isn’t too harsh she could be the type to do well over the winter.
