William makes plans for Stirling Bridge and Aquilifer

THERE has been a decidedly upbeat mood around Phantom House since Stirling Bridge and Aquilifer nailed a couple of victories between them last Wednesday.

Both horses have bounced out of their respective races and William has been plotting his next moves with them.

The trainer reported: “We were all delighted to see Stirling Bridge and Aquilifer win to provide us with a good start to 2011.

“Both horses have come out of their races well and I would hope that Stirling Bridge could possibly follow up again to complete a hat-trick. He is due out next at the end of the month.

“Aquilifer will be entered for a mile 0-65 handicap at Lingfield on January 20. He has been raised 6lb by the handicapper for his victory but I hope he will once again be competitive on his next start.”
