Petougg impresses on debut

PETOUGG got his career off to the best possible start when landing a 6f maiden at Haydock this evening.

The son of Tobougg was given a good ride by jockey Liam Jones who tracked the leaders before making his challenge 2f out.

He quickened up well in the testing conditions to score in decisive victory by a length and three quarters.

This was an impressive win first time out and provided the William Jarvis team with their first juvenile winner of the campaign.
