ALTHOUGH Phantom House is not represented in either of the Classics they are still hopeful of an Epsom winner this weekend with Oriental Scot, who lines up in the 1m2f handicap on Friday.

The son of Selkirk, a winner at Thirsk and Nottingham last year, has run with credit in his two starts this year.

William said: “He is a lovely long-striding horse who travels well and is balanced so I don’t believe that the track will be a problem for him.

“It will be a competitive race but he worked nicely on Saturday and deserves to take his chance.

“In the Oaks I shall be cheering on Siren’s Song as my brother-in-law, Jimmy George, has a share in her. She won well last time out and looks to have a live each-way chance.

“Obviously, along with most of the country, I hope that Carlton House can win the Derby for The Queen. He is a lovely, well-balanced horse who won the Dante really well. They all have him to beat.”
