WILLIAM is looking forward to saddling a number of runners over the next few days and is hopeful that there is a winner or two among them.
Today Katy’s Secret looks to have a leading chance when dropped into selling company at Southwell.
The daughter of Mind Games has been placed in three of her four previous starts and should go close if she acts on the fibersand surface.
William said: “We have dropped her in grade and are very hopeful that she can go close.
“Her dam ran well at Southwell and she has already run well on the all-weather so I hope the surface won’t be a problem.”
Tim Hedin’s Eywa has been declared to run in a 7f fillies’ handicap at Warwick this afternoon.
The daughter of Mark of Esteem will be making her handicap debut but the competition looks hot for the grade.
Tomorrow William sends Kerchak to Bath to contest a mile Classified race.
The conditions suit the son of Royal Academy and he should go close in the hands of David Probert.
William said: “We are looking for a good run from him. He’s tackling a mile for the first time but this should be in his favour.”
Running plans for the weekend are still up in the air but Grey Granite, Rock A Doodle Do and Oriental Scot all hold entries.
William continued: “I am looking forward to seeing John and Sue Davies tonight as they have come to stay to watch their horses work tomorrow morning..
“They have two three-year old fillies her; Profligate who ran once last year and a Galileo filly called Telescopic. Both are progressing nicely and shouldn’t be too far off making their seasonal bows.”
