WILLIAM is hoping that Heatherbird and Bouggatti can get their heads in front when they line up in races this week.
The former, a filly by Shamardal, runs in a mile handicap at Nottingham on Wednesday off a mark of 75.
William said: “She is always a filly we have thought a bit of as her work at home has been good.
“Chester wasn’t her track last time and everything went wrong for her. I think we shall see her in a better light at a nice galloping track like Nottingham.
“I believe she can be competitive off the mark she has been given and hope that she settles in the race.”
On Friday William is hoping to run Bouggatti in a 1m4f handicap at Doncaster. The son of Tobougg broke his duck at Beverley before finishing ninth in a competitive contest at York last time out.
William added: “The race at York went wrong as Bouggatti was carried over the stands rail while all the action unfolded in the centre of the track.
“He came out of the race well and I think he can go very close on Friday.”
