GRAVITATION has been declared to make her seasonal reappearance in a 1m4f Listed race at Haydock on Saturday.
Not seen since finishing fourth in last season’s Park Stakes, the daughter of Galileo faces a stiff task on her seasonal bow with Clowance, last year’s Oaks fourth, appearing the main danger..
Trainer William Jarvis said of his charge: “We are very much looking forward to Gravitation reappearing at Haydock. She has been working quite nicely but I do expect that she will come on for the race.
“The race does look very competitive and the trip is probably a little on the short-side but we are hopeful for a good performance.”
In the same colours of Lady Howard de Walden, Papyrian lines up in a mile maiden at Yarmouth this afternoon.
The brother to Grand Lodge was last seen finishing third over course and distance seventeen days ago. Connections will be hoping he has improved from that effort and can be competitive again. |
