WILLIAM is hopeful that Besito can make an impact on her racecourse debut at Leicester tomorrow evening.

The daughter of Kodiac, who contests a 6f maiden, has been pleasing her trainer at home and the team are looking forward to her first run.

William said: “We bought her at the breeze-ups for Tony Foster. She has shown plenty at home and I think she should do herself justice first time out.

“The dogs are barking for plenty of runners in the race so I wouldn’t be surprised if the race turned out to be stronger than the average Leicester maiden.

“But my filly has been very professional in her work at home and I would be disappointed if she doesn’t give a good account of herself.”

Also tomorrow evening Insidious makes his debut in a 7f maiden on the all-weather at Lingfield.

William added: “He is a three-year-old colt by Sakhee who has taken a while for the penny to drop. He should improve for the experience.”
