AQUILIFER pulled no punches as he maintained the excellent form of Phantom House with success at Lingfield on January 20.
The three-year-old was successful at the venue just over a fortnight ago and followed up in convincing style, despite a 6lb rise in the weights.
It was William's sixth winner from his last 12 runners. The hot spell has also seen three seconds and Cuthbert finish third, while Private Equity was fourth of 12 yesterday.
William said: "I am really pleased with how well the horses are running - long may it continue!"
The latest victory came in a 1m handicap with jockey Shane Kelly seen to good effect on John Kelsey Fry's Aquilifer.
A tightly-bunched field of six approached the closing stages with Jarvis' charge travelling well on the inner, a couple of lengths off the long-time leader Double Duchess.
Swinging for home, Aquilifer was granted the perfect split and surged through to hit the front over 1f out. He stayed on in commanding fashion to score by a length and a half.
William added: "Aquilifer delivered in emphatic style and we are delighted with his performance. He was given a good ride and we hope he can continue to progress."
