Admiral Dundas- a welcome winner!

ADMIRAL Dundas provided the William Jarvis team with a welcome winner when landing a 1m1f Claimer at Hamilton yesterday.

The son of Noverre has performed with credit all season and thoroughly deserved this success for owner Dr Jim Walker.

Jockey Joe Fanning tracked the pace on the 7/2 chance before making his challenge with two furlongs to go.

Admiral Dundas got to the lead at the furlong marker and kept on strongly to win by a head.

William said 'It is a long way to go and I am delighted the plan came to fruition!'

Fingers crossed that this winner will set the ball rolling and many more will follow this autumn.
