IT has been a busy time for all at Phantom House over the past couple of weeks with plenty of runners in addition to the October Yearling Sales taking part at Tattersalls.

William is pleased with his Tattersalls purchases which include a Pivotal filly and a Holy Roman Emperor colt from Book 1 and a Toubougg and Sakhee colt and a Sharmadal filly from Book 2.

William reflected: “I didn’t buy as many as I would have liked but am very pleased with the ones that we bought.

“In my opinion the market held out very well and it was hard to get near a few. I particularly like the pair I brought from Book 1 as they are well-bred and nice individuals.

“I hope one of the five turns out to be a flying machine!”

On the runners front Jarvis is represented by three runners in the mile Claimer at Yarmouth this afternoon courtesy of West Kirk, Musigny and Indian Tonic.

He added: “I hope that one of them can get their head in front. It’s an open race but I think that Musigny probably has the best chance.”

Looking towards the end of the week William is looking forward to Oriental Scot making his debut at Doncaster on Friday.

He said: “He has been pleasing me in his work at home and I hope he runs a promising race.”
