WILLIAM Jarvis is looking forward to running a pair of un-raced two-year-old fillies over the next few days.

Heather Bird and Qushchi both worked well this morning and are ready to make their racecourse debuts.

William said: “Heatherbird is a nice filly by Shamardal. She has been going nicely at home and I am looking to run her at Leicester next week. I hope she can perform with credit.

“Qushchi is by the Australian sire Encosta de Lago. She too has been going nicely at home and is likely to run in a maiden at Newbury next week. Both fillies will improve for the experience but should not disgrace themselves.”

Loki’s Revenge has already proven himself to be an above average juvenile and he is likely to go for a third career win at Warwick on Monday.

Dr Jim Walker’s son of Kyllachy has already won at Newmarket and Warwick and ran well behind Foghorn Leghorn at Chester last time out.

William added: “He stills seems in good form and fingers crossed he can run another good race.

“Hopefully the rain will continue and he will get his favoured soft ground.”
